A special event of the 2022 Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival.

This adult-oriented lecture will be on the topic of sustainability and environmentalism. We will dive deep into how environmentalism should be looked at as compared to how it is currently being perceived by the general public. Using them as case studies, we discuss the pros and cons of electric vehicles, the impact that the beef industry has on the environment, and the crisis that Asian countries are dealing with when it comes to air pollution. We hope to be a catalyst for objective and critical thinking on significant gaps & blind spots in environmentalism across the globe.
