Communication Center
The Communication Center helps UCCS students enhance communication skills in public speaking, group dynamics, one-on-one interviews, and more.
The Communication Center is a friendly place for every student on campus, no matter your major or the courses you’re taking. Many of your classes will require individual or group presentations.
Languages Center
The Excel Languages Center provides a supportive environment focused on academic achievement, language skills development, the celebration of cultural diversity, and an inclusive space that builds community.
Science Center
If you take lower-level courses in Chemistry, Physics, or Biology, the Science Center offers free, unlimited drop-in tutoring, dedicated space for lower-level chemistry and biology students, computers, and other resources to help you do well.
Math Center
The Math Center is your space to study, work with friends, get help from a tutor, or hang out between classes. The center offers:
- Walk-in tutoring during business hours
- Access to lab computers with math and engineering software
- Peer-assisted study sessions for most math classes
- And more
Writing Center
Writing is necessary to develop throughout life, regardless of your career path or professional interests. The Excel Writing Center strives to help students grow as writers through practice, revision, and critical thinking.
Veteran & Military Student Resources
The McCord-Herbst Student Veteran Center is open to all military-affiliated students. The Center provides resources such as their free textbook loan program, Student Veteran Organization, and assistance for VA Education Benefits.
Kraemer Family Library
The Kraemer Family Library provides a variety of amenities for students and the greater UCCS campus.
Student Resources from the Dean of Students
The Dean of Students Office provides students with resources such as Clyde's Cupboard.
Student Employment on Campus
The Student Employment Assistance Network (S.E.A.N) is the online platform for UCCS student employment. Access open positions and search departments on campus.
Career Center
The UCCS Career Center is dedicated to providing quality instruction, information, and career-building opportunities to increase the likelihood of student success in the job market.

Academic Advising
The Academic Advising Office at UCCS supports incoming and current students with developing an academic plan, course selection, transferring credits, and auditing seniors' coursework.
M.O.S.A.I.C. and LGBTQ+ Resource Center
The Multicultural Office for Student Access, Inclusiveness, and Community (M.O.S.A.I.C) and the LGBTQ+ Resource Center are student-advocated support services designed to cultivate the holistic development of historically and currently marginalized students at UCCS.
