Technical Communication & Information Design (TCID)

Originally from Rhode Island, I chose UCCS for the English-PTW program. However, I switched to TCID for the additional opportunities it provides. I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge in design and industry technologies, in addition to writing and editing skills. I am excited to enter a newer, in-demand field! While my career options are plenty, I plan to freelance write and edit while travelling for a year—possibly pursuing nonprofit grant writing in the future.

My name is Jade Stanton, and I am from Denver, Colorado. UCCS is the university for me because of its breadth of diversity. I appreciate the TCID program because it offers insight into an array of different careers. I am excited about the doors that will open for me upon receiving my bachelor’s degree with honors. After graduation, I plan to move to California to find an amazing job in the field that I love!
