Spring Biology Awards

Gracelyn (Gracie) Bradfield was born in Colorado and grew up in the state’s northwestern corner, in a small, rural town called Meeker.  After graduating from high school, Gracie signed with the UCCS Track and Field team to continue her career as a sprinter and start her academic journey to leading to medical school. At UCCS, she majored in Biology with a minor in Business on the Pre-Medicine track. Gracie is the Public Relations Executive for UCCS Global Medical Brigades, with whom she traveled to Ghana in January 2022 and plans to travel to Guatemala in May 2023. She also assists with research conducted in the HPNU department focusing on thermoregulation of the human body. Gracie plans to graduate in May 2023 and apply to medical school to fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor.
