About the Program
The Sociology Minor program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of social structures and processes, as well as research methods used to study them. Focus of Study
The Sociology Minor program focuses on the scientific study of human social behavior, social structures, power dynamics, social inequality, culture, and social change. The program also emphasizes research methods used to investigate social phenomena.
Program Requirements
- 22 credit hours of SOC coursework, 9 of which must be upper-division (3000+ level)
- All courses must be completed with a grade of C or better
