About the Program
The Linguistics Minor program is designed for students who are interested in understanding how language works and how it relates to culture and society.
Focus of Study
In this program, students will have the opportunity to take courses across a range of fields, including linguistic anthropology, philosophy, English, and ASL, as well as electives from several additional departments.
Program Requirements
The Interdisciplinary Linguistics Minor requires a minimum of 18 credit hours of coursework to include a minimum of 9 credit hours of upper-division (3000+) courses. Students must achieve a grade of C- or better in all courses completed for the minor.
